Praying for Patience

I am having a really hard time being patient right now! I do know that no matter what happens tomorrow, the baby will be here soon. I am just having a hard time not knowing what to expect! As of right now, I am one of only three scheduled deliveries (one other induction and one C-section). The chances of my induction taking place are extremely high; I just hope there are enough vacant rooms come 5:30 in the morning. Even if I get bumped at 5:30, they still have until noon to get me in. I need to pray for patience because I know that this is all going to happen in God's timing, not mine. So, I have been trying to reflect on the last nine months and how exciting they have been.

God has blessed us so much. I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy. It was not at all what I expected. They make it seem so horrible in the movies! It really has been such an exciting time for Kyle and me. (I did hate the whole maternity clothes part and gaining weight, but I'd have to say that was the only true negative.) Kyle and I have had so much fun planning and talking about the future of our little family. It's funny how we are so comfortable with being at this point now. Even just a year and a half ago, a baby was the last thing we wanted to think about. We didn't want anything to disrupt the fun we were having. Then one day we just knew it was time to start talking about starting a family, and now we can't wait to bring him along for all of the fun! We have had such a great time just growing as a couple these last 5 years and things really could not seem more complete. I can't imagine the overflowing joy that will come from this newest blessing.

We are so thankful to everyone for all of your prayers throughout the last nine months (and always). We feel overwhelmingly blessed and can't wait to share our newest family member with all of you! We will keep you updated.
