Pumpkin Patch

I just love the fall. It is definitely my favorite season. It's always so refreshing when the cooler weather comes around and football season gets in full swing. There is nothing better than a day with the windows open and a good SEC football game on TV and a plate of mom's jambalaya and Rotel dip in your lap. The guys are throwing the football in the yard, and life couldn't get better. It's such a nice break from the summer heat just to have some days where you can walk outside and feel uplifted.

Now we have added something new to our fall festivities! We took Jackson for his first visit to a Pumpkin Patch a couple of weeks ago, and we really enjoyed looking at all of the pumpkins and snapping pictures of our little man. If I'm being totally honest with myself and you, it was really more for us than him. I just LOVE the pumpkin patch, and I have always loved fall, so we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to catch a few pictures of the little guy surrounded by pumpkins. I like to think that Jackson enjoyed it, too. He was very mesmerized by them and did not really look up for many of our shots. It was a fun family outing! We enjoyed it so much that we visited another Patch while in Baton Rouge! I'll post those pictures later.

First Fall as a family of 3!
What in the world are all these pumpkins about?
Fall is a happy time! At least that's what my mom is always saying.
Exploring the pumpkin. I have never felt anything like this before.
I'm tired of this photo shoot! It's tough to be a baby.
Of course I took almost a hundred pictures, but these are just a few of my favorites. Happy Fall, everyone! Go enjoy the pumpkin patch even if you don't have kids. Every family needs at least one pumpkin on their porch! :)
