SIX MONTHS OLD!

Sweet Pea,

Are you really already 6 months old? That is half a year! I can't help but think that if the next 18 years go buy as fast as the last 6 months have, you will be moving out before I know it (not that we don't want you past 18 because believe me--you're welcome to stay as long as you want!) But we would like you to go to college. ;)

Of course you have changed so much this past month. Let's see....what all is new with you, little man??

1. You have started eating baby food and so far love anything that is put in your mouth. After you tasted a few vegetables, I couldn't convince you to eat rice cereal again. I don't blame you; it's not very tasty!!! I love the way you make "mmmmm" sounds between every bite. Such the enthusiastic eater! I hope you have not been cursed with the same love for food that I have! (Just wait 'til you can put a little butter and Tony's on those veggies...then you'll really be saying "mmmm!")

2. You are trying harder than ever to crawl. You don't seem to get too frustrated about it, though. You just rock and rock and rock. I think you think that the faster you rock, the more likely you are to get somewhere. You will be crawling before long. Right now, you are rolling and rocking to get where you want to go. I need to hurry up and baby proof this house!

3. You are really babbling these days. I'd love to know what you're saying. You're such a happy little guy. Everything excites you. I'm so glad you seem to love life! Isn't it fun?

4. You are not always impressed with my silliness. You laugh at me a lot, but lately you've been giving me "the look" when I dance silly in front of you or act goofy like I always do. You look at me as if to say, "You're crazy, Mom!"

You are growing and changing so much everyday, it's hard to separate what's "new" from what's "old". One thing's for sure...your Dad and I are amazed at how you have completed our little family (for now.) We feel blessed beyond belief and can't believe how wonderful you are. I will post some pictures soon and update on what all you have been doing!
