Horrible Mom Moment!

If you're a mom, you know what I'm talking about...those moments that leave you saying, "Wow...I'm a horrible mom!"

Last week, when I dropped Jackson off at MDO, one of his teachers asked, "Does Jackson have any solids to eat today?" (Actually, they have been asking me this for weeks now, and every time I tell them, "No. He eats them, but we just do them before and after MDO." I guess I just didn't want his teachers to have to worry with them because in all honesty I am not real rigid with my schedule for feeding him solids. We just sort of do our thing, and he eats them when it works well with our schedule.)

Today, I decided to send Jackson some carrots to eat since they kept asking. I let his teacher know that the carrots were in his bag next to his bottles. She said, "Oh, thank goodness you sent him some food this week. He has been watching the other babies eat their food each week and smacking his lips the whole time." OH. MY. GOODNESS. Are you kidding me? How sad is that? I felt terrible for my little man. I wondered why they were so interested in me bringing him some food to eat. I was just trying to be considerate of his teachers since I enjoy feeding him anyway when we get home.

Haha...oh well. You just have to laugh at those moments! =)

I love that word picture too! IT makes me laugh!!!
(and I agree about not wanting to burden them with the solid food feeding. How do they ever manage feeding all the kids when they are just this little?)

Ahh, Jackson is so cute when he's messy (all the time really). Horrible mom? Whatever! You are super laid back and wonderful.

Sidenote: Latham was by me as I was reading this and he kept saying "Jackson"...the real way. I miss him saying "Action" :)
