Compassion

This week, I have been keeping up with Beth Moore's daughter, Melissa, who is blogging about her time in Calcutta, India with Compassion. Boy has it been a reality check for me. Today's entry had me sobbing, and I've had a heavy heart since I read it. Boy, it's almost embarrassing to be writing this from my comfortable chair in my house. I feel so undeserving.

You can read her previous posts from this week, too. She will write about her entire time there. Anyway, let's just say you won't hear me complaining about my paint colors in my house anymore. I have a hard time feeling sorry for the sweet girl in these pictures, though, because it is obvious that she is joyful in spite of her circumstances.
