This is true.
It is quite possible that today, my one-year-old ate more than you did.
Biscuit
yogurt
goldfish (lots of them)
turkey, cheese, and tomato sandwich
LOTS of watermelon
3 graham cracker cookies
roast, mashed potatoes, peas
MORE watermelon
apple sauce
cheese slice
2 cups of milk and 1 cup of juice
And everything on the bottom half of this list was consumed between 7 and 9 o'clock tonight. I was about to put him in bed at his normal bedtime (8), but I was fixing Kyle's supper real quick because he got home late tonight. Well, Jackson sort of "asked" for some of the food I was warming up for Kyle. And more. Then more. And well, more. By the way, "asking" can mean anything from sign language to flailing about on the floor. This time it was in the form of a little whine accompanied with the sign for "more." So, when he asked, I fed him. It's like, a pretty big part of my job description.
But geez...
And, yes, he's still awake. Geez I would be too with all that in my tummy.

He is a growing boy!
The doctors say they'll eat when they're hungry. Guess he finally was hungry. :)
I needed to hear that this morning. I am just praying that my little boy gets hungry soon! (literally praying) I am so tired of fighting him to get even 2-3 bites in his mouth each meal. And no matter what it is.
Aw Margaret, trust me, I know! But evidently it's true! Everyone has been telling me that he will eat when he gets hungry enough. Just keep trying, and don't give in and give him the "only" things he will eat. It's so frustrating though, isn't it? I was convinced he was going to shrivel up and die, ;)! I guess they know what they need. It sure is hard, though.
I'll be praying for little D, too.
