I don't really have anything interesting to say...I'll spare you the story of how I secured the title of "The Worst Mom Ever" this morning. I will say, I did however also secure the last of everything bright red and lime green at Target for my Christmas tree next year. My decorations that I've been using for the past 7 Christmases have declared that they are retiring. They've broken, gotten lost, you name it. They have spoken. And I'm all kinds of excited about my new tree.

I hope each of you had a very Merry Christmas. We certainly enjoyed the blessing of visiting with both of our families and lots of our friends during our time in Louisiana. Jacks and I had to cut our time in North LA short because he got sick, but we will make up for it. It hurt my heart to leave, but I knew it was for the best for everyone.

Now we are home in Houston and looking forward to the New Year. I think 2010 is a nice, round number, and I'm excited about what this coming year will bring. I've been thinking about some big changes I'd like to make, but that's for another post. Don't worry; one of them is not trying to be a brunette again. Been there done that. It just isn't me. Actually the changes I'd like to make are nothing to do with my outward appearance but everything to do with an extreme internal makeover.
