While Jacks is watching Chuggington (his new favorite show...) I have to tell y'all this sweet story. Speaking of Chuggington, I always let Jacks watch one show before nap time, and today I said "What do you want to watch?"...expecting him to say, "Steet" (Sesame Street). Nope...no Sesame Street today. He said, "No Elmo. Choo-choo!" Haha! Oh goodness.
Anyway...back to the point of this Blog.
I always quiz Jacks on his body parts just because I think it's fun. "Where's your belly button? Where are your eyes?" And so on...
One day, just to be different, I said, "Where's Jesus?" He replied, "Heart [hawt]" and pointed to the center of his chest. I about fell over and died (and could have died happy in that moment) from pure shock. I know we talk about Jesus all the time, and so do his precious teachers at church and school...and for that matter friends and family too...the boy is not lacking any Jesus talk for sure! I just didn't realize he was already soaking it in.
Well today we were driving in the car and a song came on the radio that had the word "heart" in it. I asked Jacks, "Where's Jesus?" And he said, "In da hawt." I said, "Jesus is in your heart?" And he said "Uh-huh. In Mommy hawt."

Oh my word. How sweet is that?!
Life with a toddler is not short of difficult moments, so you really have to celebrate the sweet ones! :)
Well, as we speak that precious little boy who has Jesus in his heart is melting down because he's tired of his balloon being tied to his wrist...it's nap time!
Thank goodness I have Jesus in my heart, too, or I just might lose my marbles.

That is one of the sweetest posts! I love the fact that D can say Jesus (even if he does not say Mama yet)!
