SISTER!!!!
Kyle, Jacks & I went to the doctor yesterday morning for our gender scan. We were so excited to finally find out whether we were adding a boy or a girl to our family! She was an active little thing and really gave the ultrasound tech a time chasing her as she flipped and flopped around. It took about 15 minutes and two ultrasound techs to finally figure out that our baby is a GIRL.
I really had a feeling this whole pregnancy (so far) that this baby would be a girl, mostly because I had a little bit of sickness in the beginning and it just felt different than my pregnancy with Jacks. Even though we (and everyone else) seemed to think we were heading toward a pink invasion, I was in total shock when the ultrasound tech told me it was a girl. I still am not believing it. I always saw me with a bunch of boys running around, but I'm excited to experience parenting a sweet baby girl. What a blessing and huge responsibility. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit freaked out, but I know the Lord will equip me with what I need to do the best job I can (with His help!)
I'm so thankful that Kyle will have the opportunity to be a Daddy to a daughter. Oh, she is going to have him so wrapped.
I bought her first two outfits today from Target. Yay! :) This is going to be a little more expensive than having a boy. :)
Anyway, I would go on and on but my sweet little niece and sis in law are at my house right now, and we are about to tear up some Lupe.
Anyway, the point of the story is:
It's a GIRL! :)
PS - Jacks is VERY excited about having a sister, but he's not too shocked because he's told us he was having a sister from the very beginning.

Woohoo!!! I went through all the same feelings; can't wait for our little girls to be able to play together just like J and D!
Yay! So excited for ya'll. Can't wait to see what she looks like.
So fun! Excited for y'all!
Congrats again!!! She is so lucky to have Mr. Jax as a big bro!!! You will do great with a daughter, yay for baby dolls, barbies & bows!!! :D
Congratulations! I always said before I had Nathan that I am not a "boy mom." Now, I definitely am destined to mother 2 little boys! Lindsay, you get the best of both worlds in being a "boy mom" and a "girl mom!" So happy for you!
