Kyle and I had so much success with this eating/exercise program when we did it the last time! So...it has begun in our house again! I love it so much. I have only been doing it for three days and feel 100% better already. It's by NO MEANS a diet for me. (I am NOT trying to lose weight before anyone freaks out; I'm really just trying to get back in the habit of regular exercise and getting well rounded nutrition.) BFL actually forces me to eat MORE because I often eat too little and then of course give in to the wrong things! :) I must say I have had a bigger appetite while I have been pregnant, but I think I've done a pretty good job controlling it. I think a lot of it is psychological. Anyway, I have several reasons for starting this program again:
1. Gaining back the muscle tone I've lost over the past three months. (I have been keeping up with my cardio (well, sort of) but slacking on my strength training exercises!)
2. Cutting out sweets. (Wow! This has NEVER been a problem for me. I am the last person to be tempted by sweets--usually--but lately I have been wanting them.)
3. Making sure the baby gets lots of good nutrition. (Body for Life forces you to eat plenty of protein and have a very well rounded diet.)
Anyway, if you ever want to get in the best shape you have ever been in, I totally recommend BFL. It is totally easy because it doesn't require you to STARVE yourself. It's all about eating (my kind of plan), and it is so NOT a diet. I lost 30 pounds on it about a year and a half ago by not changing anything about my diet other than the TIME that I was eating. BFL requires you to eat every 2-3 hours. Again--my kind of plan! :)
