Okay so I'm not leaving on a jet plane, but I'm totally ready for Baby Boy Silvio to come any time he wishes! I'm just praying that he decides to come when Kyle is home and I have clean hair. :) I now have all of his clothes washed, organized, and put away. His nursery is ready (thanks to my amazing family), and his hospital bag is packed! It is just sitting in my room right next to my bag.
Thanks to mom last weekend and Gran, Aunt Jan, Em & Casey this weekend, I feel tons better about the house. My pictures are hung and it is looking much more like home! I really don't know what I would have done without such wonderful help. We crammed so much into such short visits (a little over 24 hours both times), but it was sooooo good to see them and for them to give me such great help. Granny even pulled up the flowers in our beds. Who knew you had to plant flowers every year? Not me. I will post pictures of the house soon.
All I have left to do is hang some shades in the kitchen (or should I say let Granny hang some shades in the kitchen), and I'm waiting on the painter to come by today to give me a quote on painting a couple of rooms. If he doesn't have time to do it soon, I'll just do it next summer. A couple of the rooms were already painted when we bought the house, but I'm a huge fan of color and would like to do a little more.
Anyway, now I feel like I can just kind of coast through because the house is ready and everything is pretty much taken care of. I'm unbelievably glad because I'm starting to have less energy and feel uncomfortable (mainly when getting up and down or walking around for too long). I'm finding little projects to do to keep me busy and not feel like a huge slob sitting down on the couch all day. Of course that happens, too. Ha.
