Update

Everyone is so sweet to keep asking how our families are doing, so I thought I would update in case anyone else was wondering. They are all OK, just HOT! Most people are still without power to my knowledge. Anyway, I do know that some have had more damage than others, but fortunately I have no major damage to report for any of our family members. Thank you for your concern.

I would like to ask those of you whom I have told to pray for the Patterson family to continue to pray. Mr. Jim has an appointment at MD Anderson tomorrow at 2 PM. The following was written by Mrs. Rebecca and will help you know how to pray:

Jim has a 2 pm appt on Wed. at MD Anderson with the head of the urology dept there. That is a huge praise. Pray that the cancer is confined to within the kidney and that the medical community will be baffled when they realize it is benign. Pray we will be able to rest physically and spiritually in the Lord. We love you guys. Invite anyone to join this group! We feel blessed to have you pray over/for us.
