I'm sorry...I couldn't resist. Jackson went to sleep in his "space suit" on NYE, so I couldn't help but write the above cheesy title. We had a nice NYE at home. We opted to stay home since Kyle was still a tad bit under the weather and we were all still very tired and trying to recover from our 2 1/2 weeks away from home. We had a great time being lazy, watching the LSU game, and giving Jackson his first taste of fireworks...sparklers!We bundled up and went outside. It was freezing! Kyle did 2 boxes of sparklers, running around the yard. It was fun. Jackson enjoyed watching him and listening to all the fireworks around us. We could hear big ones, but we couldn't see any of them! It was so much fun. Kyle and I barely made it to midnight (you know you're old when you're content to celebrate New Year's with the east coast and fall asleep!) I did fall asleep but woke up to see the New Year in but was back asleep at 12:02. =)
This was while Jackson was still in the "crazy smile" phase (which only lasted 2 weeks...=( ), so these pictures are hilarious to me. Silly little man...he sure makes life fun!

Jackson's silly smile cracks me up!! Y'all did better than us on NYE...we were asleep before midnight eastern time, but then again, we are REALLY old. :)
