Some of our long time best friends came to visit us last weekend, and we had a BLAST. It's always a party when you get us 4 (now 6 with the boys) together. We laugh about old times and make new memories every single time. We relaxed, watched TV, played Mario Kart, played with the boys, and Ashley and I hit up the town shopping!! In the process, we discovered Sam Moon's Home Decor store (thanks, Jaime!) and found some good stuff. On Saturday, we went to visit the Water Wall at the Galleria. Definitely a must-see in Houston! If it's a pretty day, there is plenty of room for kids to run around and play. It's a great picnic spot. It was freezing outside, so we didn't stay too long, but I'm glad we got to see it!
The boys had fun chasing each other around. Maddox would say, "Move, Jackson please." Haha. Jackson doesn't quite understand that you can't get in people's way when they are riding. ;)

I can't wait 'til Jackson can ride on his Tiger rocking horse! Maddox loved it! He said, "Roar, Tiger, Roar!" I said, "Maddox, what's the Tiger's name?" He said, "Mike!" See...we teach them young. Very important stuff here folks.

Other Silvio Family news:
-We finally joined the FLC at church, and I'm super excited about being able to work out in the mornings with good childcare. PLUS, I only have 4 months left to get back in shape!
-Kyle has had a CRAZY busy week. Tuesday night he worked until 2:15 AM and got home at 3! After today, they will be finished with their crazy time. Thank goodness!
-This cool weather is nice, but I'm sooo thankful it's almost SPRING!!! Last spring, I was huge and pregnant, so I'm looking forward to enjoying all the fun spring days with my baby, and of course weekends with Daddy. I am sooooooo excited about taking Jackson to the pool this summer. Can you tell I have summer blues? I hate the month of January!!! It's like the BLAH between all the fun stuff! Hurry up, Spring!

I started laughing at your description of January. It's so true though...even the clothes are blah right now...come February, I will want to go shopping like crazy for all the fun shirts...it happens every.single.year.
