Rough Night!

So, last night Jackson woke up SCREAMING at the top of his LUNGS around 1:30 AM. Since it was such a sudden, loud scream, I hurried in his room to make sure he was OK. I checked him over...no bumps or blood. I held him for a minute, and he was REALLY upset...like doing the most dramatic cry I've ever heard. After a couple of minutes, it didn't stop. I took him to our room and held him for a little while. Still screaming.

He would stop and then start right up again.

We tried several things...rocking him, lying him down in our bed, giving him things to chew on, etc. I finally gave him some Tylenol because my guess was that it was his teeth that were bothering him. I think he cried (screamed) for a solid hour. We finally all fell asleep, and he started up again at I don't even remember what time. We tried to no avail to get him settled back down again, so Kyle said since he wasn't hurt, we just needed to put him in his bed and let him cry himself to sleep [so sad!] But seriously, this was the strangest thing ever.

This morning when Kyle left for work, we decided that it was a good thing Jackson was (and is) such an easy baby because we were about ready to throw him out the window last night (OK, not really, but it was a rough night!)

Anyway, he's still sleeping, so hopefully whatever it is went away. Poor little man.
