I just love having a brand new year to start clean and make resolutions and get organized and all that good stuff. I'm excited to see what God has in store for us in 2009.Last night, God decided to remind us of one of our greatest blessings that we sometimes went without in 2008...sleep. You guessed it, our little man is teething. Let's just say there wasn't much sleep going on in our house last night...for me, anyway. I don't think it fazed the boys as it did me.
The first tooth came in with no problem, but this one seems to be bothering the poor little guy. He would moan and groan in his sleep, but I just felt so sorry for him that I couldn't sleep and kept going in to check on him. I finally gave him some Tylenol (I guess I was too out of it at first to think to do that...), and he went back to sleep. Being awake most of the night last night was a flashback to the newborn days, and I had to wonder how we did it for 12 weeks! Somehow you just do those things for your little one. I am so thankful that he is here with us this new year and that he is healthy and happy! OK, usually happy. I have to give him a break since he's going through some pretty yucky stuff with teething ;).

I'm with you. Carson has been sleeping through the night a few weeks now and this past week he has been sick so I was up every hour or so, boy I don't miss that. When he was doing it as a newborn it wasn't that bad, but after lots of sleep again it was a killer. Good luck!
He is such a handsome boy! We are going through the second round of teething, getting the top 2 teeth. Again missing a little sleep. Honestly, I do not know how it seemed so easy to live on a couple hours of sleep then, it is rough now!!
