I LOVE softball season! Softball season is the official start of all things spring and summer for me! Always has been. Oh how I miss JBC softball games out at Judson, too! Last year I was about to POP while Kyle was playing softball, but enjoyed it because it was when I really started to get to know some of the girls at CFBC.
Anyway, the past two Saturdays have been practice days for the teams. Kyle's team is called Big League Chew. We are excited to cheer them on in the coming weeks! These pics are from last weekend. It was windy, so we bundled up and enjoyed playing in the grass, dirt, on the hill, in the outfield, and even visited a donkey and some horses on the street behind the church.
Jackson loves riding in his car. His friends like playing with it, too. Ellie looked like a little snow bunny. So cute!

Sarabeth showed up in her wagon! I thought this was a gorgeous pic!

You can see "the hill" in the background. Jackson loves crawling up and down this hill. Today, he crawled down it laughing the whole way down.

Heading over to see the animals. Is there anything cuter than kids in a wagon?

Looking (and laughing at) the donkey

Jackson thought the donkey was HILARIOUS. He kept laughing when he would touch it's fur or it would lick him. Too funny. Check out the video below.
Sarabeth & Ellie looking at the donkey

Sarabeth telling Jackson, "Shhh!" (in a sweet way) haha. Isn't she the cutest???!!!

Mr. Chris was sprawled out on the ground! As you can see, the other guys were totally kicking him while he was down and throwing balls at him. He was just resting!

UP the hill!

Munching on dirt...yummy! Until he choked on a twig and I almost had a panic attack. Thank you to Mrs. April for helping me save him! Being a boy's momma is interesting at times b/c you want him to "be a boy", so you just have to let him do some things that make your skin crawl. ;) God knew what He was doing, though, b/c I just love an excuse to get dirty!

My little man

Toward the end of practice, Kyle gave me a scare and took Jackson out in the outfield. Yes, at one point he was holding Jackson in his left arm and catching with his right hand. Oh, goodness. I just know Jackson is going to love watching Kyle play softball, and then of course he will I'm sure want to play himself! This is going to be a fun softball season!

Yeah! Can't wait...sorry we weren't there last weekend. I think M was exhausted from taking care of D during the shower :)
Cute!! jackson was so cute at the last practice crawling down the hill!!
I think Jeff Fair had a chance to rent a donkey in Israel this week...and to think, you had one right there the whole time...FREE!!!! LOL!!!!
That was such a fun time for us too, when our kids were small. Boys are so easy. Give 'em the greater outdoors and they're happy!
Doesn't dirt have some minerals in it that our body needs??? Hummmmmmmm!!!!!!
