Wow, is Spring beautiful in this part of Texas or what???!!! I love the Bluebonnets. We caught the tail end of peak season for these gorgeous flowers and took some pictures at the beautiful Rob Fleming Park in The Woodlands (thanks, Jaime!) Jackson gave me a good work out to get these pictures done, but it was such a good time watching him crawl through the flowers and explore, explore, explore! He even ventured to taste one (or two) and wasn't pleased. Yes, he projectile vomited a Bluebonnet. I know it's illegal to pick these gorgeous flowers, but they didn't say anything about consuming them. ;)
I have had every intention of writing a blog about our one year anniversary of living in Texas; I just haven't sat down to do it! Can you believe it's already been a year? Wow...March 24, 2008 was the day it all went down! This very day last year, my dad and siblings headed back to Baton Rouge. We were all by ourselves but knew that we would see them very soon with the arrival of Mr. J! Kyle knows how to make me feel better, so that morning he said, "Do you want to go furniture shopping?" ;) Love that guy.
Anyway, that post should be coming soon. I continue to be amazed at the blessings God has poured out on us. We are loving life--especially Spring--in Spring, TX! Enjoy the pics!!!

This is Jackson's new pose he does when he gets excited (He is so silly...is he my son or what??!!):

PS - Stay tuned for a posting about a yummy (and easy) recipe I made last night that received major thumbs up (and smiles, drool, and grunts) from both boys last night! ;)

That's crazy its been a year already. Jackson was too cute in the flowers. Good pics!
I loved these pics of Jackson!! He has such a fun personality. The pics of the eating the flower and then gagging are hilarious.
My favorite is definitely the one where he is finds out how bad they taste!
Great pictures....he's adorable!!
I neglected to mention that after eating the bluebonnets, David spit them up several times over the next couple of hours.

Love the last picture of y'all. There is something so special between a mom and her little man!
We love this family!
Haha! I thought I was getting confused with all the comments coming through my inbox(since I subscribed to the comments)! I knew they weren't for our post, but got mixed up on the title! (that, and the bluebonnet title for Jaime and Kim too)
How funny we would both think of that title!
