Happy Friday! I apologize for my lack of updates lately! We have been so busy! Kyle and I have been back from our New England trip for almost a week now, which is crazy. I definitely plan on writing a Blog about it this weekend. It was one of the most--if not THE most--amazing trips I've ever had the privilege of taking. I've always been captivated by that part of the country, and it was a dream come true to visit it in the fall! This sounds silly, but my heart is sick to go back to Boston! I really became attached to that place. I can't wait to write more about it.
We are looking forward to a weekend of having nothing that we have to do. I think we have a few fun things in the works but nothing major. I have a hair appointment in the morning...PTL! Kyle is in full swing preparing for his marathon. He had his first run (of his current training schedule) Wednesday night, did his second run last night, and is gearing up for a big 12 mile run in the morning. Crazy, I tell you!
Anyway, I realize this update was nothing exciting. Just felt obligated to say hello since I've been a lousy Blogger. Jacks and I are headed out to play group at Hooks airport in a little while. Fun times!
OK I'll see if I can find a pic to make this Blog a little more exciting...
Here is our little man right after we gave him his souvenirs from our trip. The only one not pictured is his "special rock" we picked up from the coast in Maine while we were stalking George H. W. Bush's house. He loved all of his "prizes." Our big suitcase was delayed arriving at home because we switched flights last minute, and I told Jacks that there were a few surprises in our suitcase for him. At one point he asked about them, and I told him that later that day a man was going to come by the house and bring that suitcase. When the suitcase arrived, he started running around saying, "A man is here with my prizes!!! Yayyyy!!!! There are prizes for ME!!!!!" The best part is that all of those prizes totaled about $11. Ha. The little helmet is one that Kyle and I ate ice cream out of at Fenway. It was actually one of his favorite things.

Well, that's it. Look for more updates this weekend!
Love to all!
