This will be a quick post, but I just wanted to say how fun it was to go to Wednesday Night Church & out to dinner afterward tonight. Wednesday Night Church was a HUGE part of my life growing up, and I've really missed it these past 8 or so years. Kyle and I have gone sporadically (both in Baton Rouge and now here), but it hasn't been routine. There is just something so heart warming about attending church mid-week & fellowshipping with family & friends.
We are participating in a marriage study with our Life Group for the next 6 weeks, so we will be at least attending for this current season. I'm hoping we continue the routine after the study is over!
Tonight after Bible Study, we got Jacks and headed to Double Dave's. They have the buffet on Wednesday nights. Yum! We had such a good time, and it brought back such good memories of fun times after church with my family growing up. I always hoped we'd go out to dinner with other families, and I waited in anticipation until choir practice was over to find out!
Fun night! Love my church & little family. Thankful for the memories I have of Wednesday nights growing up & for the ones we'll make in the future!
