Busy girl!

Our sweet little Reesie girl is such a source of joy in this house. She has been busy entertaining us with all her new tricks. She has really started interacting with all her little toys hanging from her play mat lately. She swats at them and looks at them and coos until she gets tired of them, and at that point she gets mad and starts hitting them. Reese is giggling a lot and smiles if you so much as look at her out of the corner of your eye. It's so sad if you have to walk past her and she gets the idea that you're about to bend over to talk to her because she gets SO excited and breaks out into the biggest grin. My little social butterfly. She loves to be talked to, and she will talk your head off. (And yes, they BOTH talk my head off TOGETHER quite often. ;) ) She squeals a lot, too. Last week she had a cold and developed a very squeaky, barky kind of voice, which resulted in us nicknaming her Reese-a-saurus. She really did sound like a baby dinosaur. Now, anytime she starts talking in that squeaky voice, Jacks says, "Uh-oh! Reese-a-saurus is back!" :)

Here are a few recent pics of our happy girl.

Playing on the floor... She is such a little scooter! If she is on her tummy, she wants to MOVE. This past week she rolled from tummy to back, and she's almost got the back to tummy roll down, too. I cannot believe how quickly approaching "the mobile stage" is! (Yikes!)

She loves floating in the tub. It cracks us up because she looks like she's lounging on a float in the pool. Love this girl.

 Clean & sweet :)

So proud to be sitting in her Bumbo (Excuse these blurry pics; they're from my phone.)

It is never a dull moment around here, and I love it.
