Flashback

I have been a lazy Blogger lately, so I'm going to try to catch up. We have been pretty busy with appointments, play dates, friends/family visiting, and just enjoying FALL, so I haven't gotten around to much posting. So, here are some pics from the last month or so that I thought you wouldn't want to miss. =)

We have found about 10 wasp nests in our back yard recently. Yikes! Here Kyle is attacking one of them oh so carefully...Don't get too close, Kyle!
The following pictures are of scenery around Henry's Hill (my grandparents' house). Granny said the clouds and sunsets are the most beautiful after a hurricane has passed through.
Kyle on a tractor?
Pappy taught him how to use the front loader. The thumbs up from Pap signaled a job well done. Way to go, Cowboy Kyle.
Beautiful hummingbirds at Gran's. She has an agreement with God to take care of these birds and feeds them faithfully everyday! :)
A little post hurricane BBQ fun...Nick was testing out the sausage. It's good! We enjoyed the Cochrans evacuating to our house. They enjoyed it so much they stayed even after their power came back on. What can I say, we throw good slumber parties!
Big Buddies/Little Buddies.
The Sunday afternoon ritual. First comes football...then comes nap. Looks like they are fading out here.
Can you say big boy?
Happy Little Man! It's hard to catch a smile on camera these days because he's mesmerized with it and turns serious as soon as he sees it. I was happy to catch this one.
Happy with Dad.
:)
According to Brittany, Jackson "makes crazy faces at people like [I] do"...haha. He is always raising an eyebrow or crinkling up his forehead. I'd love to know what he's thinking.
Still not too sure about rice cereal. He did seem to like it more when we mixed a little applesauce in...guess we'll keep doing that. These faces are priceless.
You would think we were torturing him.

Lately, Jackson's favorite thing to do is lie on the floor and squeal. He has so much fun making raspberries and listening to himself make the funniest sounds. :)
Enjoying a picnic by the waterway in the Woodlands.
Now he can roll both ways! Look out world, here comes Jackson! It was a struggle getting over that arm that was holding him back, but he pushed through. Yay, Jackson. We're so proud of you, bud.
Still lovin' that thumb. Speaking of love, is that the "I Love You sign" he's flashing?
That's all for the flashback. Hopefully I can stay up to date now!

MD is the same way about the camera!

Do think it is because of all the papparazzi when he was born! :)
