I don't really have any pictures to go with this post, although I've taken a few good ones lately. I need to upload them to my computer. Our little family has been verrrrrrry busy lately. Good busy, though. We really haven't slowed down since our beach vacation (which I just realized I never posted about...need to do that soon!)
We came back to a week of playoffs for Kyle's softball team and the start of his basketball team's games. That week we had something every.single.night. That week was followed by a very fun Rice baseball weekend, which turned into a trip to Baton Rouge for the Super Regionals this past weekend. We had a wonderful time in Baton Rouge visiting with family and going to the games. We even got to hear the Malaysia Mission Trip report Sunday night, which we really enjoyed! We left Baton Rouge at 5 AM Monday morning, and Jackson and I went straight to the church to plan for VBS, which starts next week. We came home so he could nap and I could get the house ready for our friends, the Willetts, to come into town. They are here now, and we are having a great time. Next week is VBS, and then we start our tour of Louisiana weddings. :) The first is my friend Angela's, who is getting married in Baton Rouge. We will leave BR and head up to North LA for wedding festivities for my cousin Emily and her fiancee, Casey. I come back and take some certification tests for my TX licensure, and then we're back to the beach again, which at that point will be well needed. Whew. I feel better.
This has been a fun day...woke up to coffee with Ashley, playing with our boys, shopping while they napped, then BBQ and swimming tonight. Chad and Ashley were at the Cubs/Astros games, and I'll have you know that Kyle and I had both those boys in bed in 15 minutes. Seriously. They were milked, brushed, rocked, sung to, prayed with, and tucked in all in a matter of 15 minutes. In 5 more they were out cold. They've been sleeping for an hour, and all is peaceful in the Silvio house. Kyle's in there hooking up Chad's XBOX so we can get down with some kaorake when they get home.
Well, gotta go warm up my voice so I can kick booty on the mic tonight.
See y'all.
